Our classroom is a quiet place where several small groups can work on academic interventions, classroom work, or take a needed break. Our environment includes a variety of flexible seating options. These include: exercise balls, wiggle cushions, stools, swivel chairs, and stand-up desks. Additionally, our room is full of a variety of manipulatives that students can use to assist them in their classroom work and classroom curriculum. Students learn responsibility by keeping track of their classroom materials, communicating important classroom assignments, and demonstrating positive work habits. Students can earn money in their classroom banks for demonstrating these positive behaviors. On Fridays, students are able to purchase items from our classroom store with this earned money. Most importantly, our environment is a peaceful, fun place to learn!
