I am Mrs. Coontz and this is my 11th year of teaching, and my 5th at Hiawatha. I’ve also taught in Lansing and Flint. 

I graduated from Spring Arbor University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and from Michigan State with a master’s degree in Literacy. 

My husband and I have one daughter, Lily, and a dog, Archie. I love to read, run, travel, and watch the Detroit Lions!
