    United Negro College Fund

    The UNCF seeks to "close the educational attainment gap between African Americans and the majority population."  It accomplishes this goal by providing operating funds for member colleges, administering 400 scholarship and internship programs, and serving as a national advocate for the importance of minority higher education.

    The Turning Point Male Mentoring Program

    The Turning Point is a program designed to provide African American males an opportunity to explore the daily challenges that they encounter as they work to achieve success in high school and plan for their future success.     Ron Brown Scholar Program

    This program was established to honor the late Ronald H. Brown, Secretary of Commerce during the Clinton administration.  The program seeks to award financial support to academically talented, highly motivated African American students who are currently seniors in high school and plan to pursue undergraduate degrees full-time.  Students must be U.S. citizens or permanent U.S. residents.
