Hi! I'm Julie Mittan and I'm a 6th grade Language Arts and Science Teacher on the Gunns/Howart/Mittan Team. This is my 10th school year at Kinawa! I graduated from Western Michigan University with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with minors in Integrated Science and Language Arts and completed my Master's Degree through Spring Arbor University.
My family is composed of my husband, two beautiful daughters (Claire and Emme), and my rambunctious black labrador, Nox. When I am not teaching, I am spending time with my family. If I have a moment to myself, I love to bake and read.
